Johnny Cyberpunk

This short story by William Gibson is about a guy who has put a data system in his head and it lands him in trouble and realizes that he needs to take the data out of his head because it doesn't lead to good situations. This short story is postmodernist because it blends non fiction with fiction. The shirt story is cyberpunk because it uses science fiction to mix high tech and low life.

I myself feel like this year I really got to understand more of the concept of collaborative thinking and using the Internet to show more and learn more. I feel like this year I was able to understand essay writing and do a good job on them when I fully understand the topic. I feel like I was able to practice something that a the other English classes weren't able to go over.

My Review of The Great Gatsby Movie

This weekend I went to see the movie The Great Gatsby with my mom and sister. The movie was very helpful for my understanding of the book. The movie was full of like and captured everyone's personality way better then I was able to with the reading. In my opinion being able to see a visualize to the characters in the story I'm reading lets me understanding way better. I would definitely recommend anyone who was thinking of seeing the movie definitely should. 

Future Me

 The letter I wrote to myself to be able to open 4 years from now to help me remember what I wanted to tell my future self. 

THIS IS ABSURD

Definition of Absurd:
1) ridiculously unreasonable, unsound
2) having no rational or orderly relationship to human life : meaningless

Something that I find completely Absurd in life is BAD MANNERS. When people don't have good manners I think it is so absurd. I feel like good manners is common sense and makes the world a better place if everyone had them.

I also think that bombing innocent people and being able to purchase or make weapons is absurd. There is no reason why an untrained person should be able to get ahold of that kind of power.

Essay Reflection

I think what I did well on my essay was knowing the differences between the groups in the new world and how the lower groups made the higher groups look like a higher society.
What I could've done better was organize my thoughts and planned a better thesis to base my essay on.
